OBJECTIVE

In this talk we will inform and raise awareness of how our clothes pollute our waters, and what we can do about it.

WHAT WE WILL LEARN

We will learn about the textile industry’s connection to our planet and how our clothes pollute our oceans, seas, rivers and lakes.

Through examples we will see how the processes used in the manufacture of our clothes consume and pollute water.

We will also see how some of our garments can continue to pollute during their use.

We will analyze what solutions can be adopted, both by companies and individuals, to improve the current situation.
